How You, As a Healer, Can Stay Healed Yourself

Read 1,433 Times : 900 words (Aprox 4 min read)

One of my graduates posed a question to me today, and it’s a question that I think most in the “healing” or self-help profession don’t know the answer to.

As coaches, hypnotists, therapists and other professionals, we invest ourselves in our work like no other profession.

We invest not only with our hearts and our minds, but also, our energy.

Have you ever noticed that after a long day of working with clients, you feel drained?

Having one of the most rewarding careers I could imagine, I used to often wonder how something that made me feel so good, could also leave me so drained.

Why is that?

How Masterlock Taught Houdini a Lesson About the Subconscious Mind

Read 1,484 Times : 577 words (Aprox 3 min read)

When people ask me what hypnosis can be used for, I have a hard time pinning it down, because it can literally be used in all areas of life.

It can be used for everything from smoking to weightloss, nail biting to fears, and can even be effective for improving your performance on a hobby.

In fact, when I think about the benefits of hypnosis, I'm often reminded of the story of Houdini, the greatest escape-artist of all time.

Houdini was famous for being able to pick any lock in the world. In fact, he had a standing challenge to anyone that could make a lock that he couldn't pick...

The Business of Changing Lives

Read 1,221 Times : 939 words (Aprox 4 min read)

Well, it has been five-and-a-half long, satisfying weeks.

Our once-per-year round of NLP trainings, starting with NLP Practitioner, then NLP Master Practitioner, and finally NLP Trainer’s Training has come to a close.

After graduation and a few days off for relaxation and reflection, it’s time to get back to the work of spreading the message.

And it really is a simple message: We have the inner-mind tools to change people’s lives, and ANYONE can learn them.

You can learn them to eliminate all the negativity from your life and create happiness, health, wealth and abundance for yourself.

You can learn them to help your family – parents, siblings, kids, whomever – to change their lives for the better.

You can learn them to help others overcome all the obstacles that have ever held them back and charge hundreds of dollars per hour to do something truly amazing.

And you can learn to train others to do all of that and to create immense prosperity at the same time...

Let's take a step back and think about the swine flu rationally.

Read 1,198 Times : 392 words (Aprox 2 min read)

One person posted on facebook last night, “Swine Flu now a pandemic.”

The definition of a pandemic, according to wikipedia is, “an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads through populations across a large region.”

65 US cases of the flu out of 303M+ hardly seems to be epidemic. And it has to be epidemic before it can be pandemic, by definition.

Here’s Congressman Ron Paul – who is also a physician – spoke about this issue. Now I like Ron Paul’s case, but the argument can be made even more relevant. This took me less than ten minutes of research:

Mending a Broken Heart with Hypnosis... Literally

Read 1,501 Times : 606 words (Aprox 3 min read)

People are always surprised when I tell them I’m a hypnotist.

It starts with a twinkle in their eye, then a curiosity builds. Sometimes they put up their fingers in the sign of a cross and jokingly say, “Don’t look at me!”

But mostly, people wonder what the limits really are. Is it just for fun? Can it be used to hurt people? Isn’t it all just in your mind?

All good questions, but let’s look at the last...
