One of the biggest issues we have facing us in the modern world is that people have been conditioned to believe that health is not a personal responsibility.
Society blames health on our genetics, our upbringing, our environment, our government (or lack of government), for-profit corporations, our age... anything BUT the personal choices we have made and the personal choices we continue to make each and every day.
People have been conditioned to believe that health primarily comes in a bottle full of chemicals, reactively given to you only through the permission of a medical system that has assumed far more power than it can competently handle. THIS is primarily why we are in the position of health we are in today as a society...Read the rest of this entry »
Jessica Alba, actress of the Fantastic 4 movies, has some advice for mothers-to-be.
The actress, now 30 and in her second pregnancy, recommends that expectant mothers turn to hypnosis to help them have a smooth, enjoyable pregnancy.
Hypnobirthing has been done for the more than 150 years, in one form or another. And these days, you can easily find hypnobirthing practitioners an hypnobirthing classes in your area.
However, why only learn tiny tidbits that only apply to pregnancy? Hypnosis is a powerful tool that allows your conscious (thinking) mind and your subconscious (feeling) mind to be aligned.
Hypnosis can be used for everything from hypnosis for weight loss, to improving memory, and from sales mastery to learning how to influence and persuade people with conversational hypnosis.
Perhaps the best way to start is to get my best-selling book, Learn Hypnosis… Now! It is by far the easiest way to learn to do hypnosis for yourself and for others, and you can get it on Amazon. Or, check out my video home study course, Learn Hypnosis… At Home!.
In June, I blogged about a dangerous new way to get high, called I-Dosing.
People can now purchase and download MP3 music files that replicate drug states, using binaural beat technology that manipulates brainwaves with sounds.
This is particularly dangerous for kids and teens, because you can’t test their urine, blood or breath to find out if they’re “using,” and their peers tell them that it’s not dangerous, because it isn’t chemical (completely ignoring the mental/emotional effects of using).
I just found out now that it’s also available as an app on iTunes.
If you have kids, it’s very important that you know what they’re downloading, and from where. Be sure to periodically check your teens computer, music player, cell phone, and now, iTouch or iPhone. Seemingly innocent music files could be harming them now.
I just came across this video about a new trend among teens, called I-Dosing. I-Dosing allows kids to get high over the internet, using their computer or MP3 player.
They download the MP3 and listen to it through headphones and it induces drug-like effects.
As silly as this sounds, I’m very familiar with this technology.
It’s called binaural beats, and it has been around since the early 70’s. It’s well-established science...Read the rest of this entry »

One person posted on facebook last night, “Swine Flu now a pandemic.”
The definition of a pandemic, according to wikipedia is, “an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads through populations across a large region.”
65 US cases of the flu out of 303M+ hardly seems to be epidemic. And it has to be epidemic before it can be pandemic, by definition.
Here’s Congressman Ron Paul – who is also a physician – spoke about this issue. Now I like Ron Paul’s case, but the argument can be made even more relevant. This took me less than ten minutes of research:Read the rest of this entry »
