Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking

Fear of public speaking is listed as the number one fear in the US, and number three in the UK.

In most studies, people are more afraid of public speaking than death.

Imagine that.

Or, if you’re one of the majority of people who list it there, you don’t have to imagine it. You live it.

Most people don’t know this about me, but until my late 20s, I was incredibly shy.

I was very social with people I knew, but I had a crippling shyness that kept me from meeting new people, advancing in my careers and, though I could always sing on stage easily, from public speaking.

That changed when I let it go with a 15 minute NLP technique, but even with the shyness gone, I still had a hard time composing myself on stage.

All of that melted away when I took Trainer’s Training.
