Strive to achieve excellence, but don’t get caught up in the ideal of “perfection.”

Topher Morrison put it best with the title of his book, Stop Chasing Perfection and Settle for Excellence.

Once you decide on a goal, let go of the need for it to be EXACTLY the way you envisioned it, and you’ll often find the Universe delivers excellence in unanticipated ways.
