What is Reiki or HypnoReiki?

Reiki is an ancient hands-on energy healing method, rediscovered in 1922 by Mikao Usui after 21 days of fasting and meditating on Mount Kaurma, Japan.

Usui received a spiritual enlightenment that gave him the ability to heal using universal energies, so as not to deplete the practitioner of his own energy.

Reiki literally means "Universal Life Energy" and combines ancient Japanese and Tibetan principles and beliefs into a method which is soothing, rejuvenating and pleasing.

The philosophy of Reiki is based on a very simple and beneficial premise:

The secret method of inviting good fortune.

The marvelous medicine for all sickness.

Work with integrity

Be kind to others and to yourself.

Reiki is a very passive energy. The client simply lies down and enjoys the experience, while the practitioner sets an intention and begins laying the hands on various parts of the body, usually corresponding to the major organs or the chakras.

Reiki uses Universal Life Energy, so the practitioner does not use their own energy to work with the client.

HypnoReiki combines the arts of Reiki and Hypnotherapy to create a profound experience and transformation by dealing with issues on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual/energetic levels.
