Learn to help kids and adults with learning disabilities

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

If you have a child with learning disability, such as ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, autism, aspergers, sensory integration disorder or others, OR if you’re just passionate about helping these kids, there’s good news!

Gerald Hughes is once again holding his Neuro-Linguistic Learning Specialist training where you’ll learn specific tools to help these kids to not just get by, but to excel at school and at home.

I took this training myself last year, and it is phenomenal. Gerald is one of the most passionate, caring trainers around. I highly suggest this training.

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Good news, everybody!  Tony Robbins’ new show, Breakthrough with Tony Robbins starts tomorrow night (Tuesday, July 27, 2010) at 8pm on NBC.

Breakthrough with Tony Robbins will document Anthony Robbins working with clients in private practice.

Tony uses Neuro-Linguisic Programming or NLP (which he sometimes refers to by his own trade name, Neuro-Associative Conditioning) to help people change their lives.

If you want to learn how to change people’s lives using NLP — the same tools Tony uses in Breakthrough with Tony Robbins — check out our NLP Practitioner Training where you’ll learn the same tools as Tony Robbins.

Check out Breakthrough with Tony Robbins on NBC on Tuesday at 8pm.

Warning: New way for kids to get high… over the internet

Monday, July 19th, 2010

I just came across this video about a new trend among teens, called I-Dosing.

I-Dosing allows kids to get high over the internet, using their computer or MP3 player.

They download the MP3 and listen to it through headphones and it induces drug-like effects.

As silly as this sounds, I’m very familiar with this technology.

It’s called binaural beats, and it has been around since the early 70’s. It’s well-established science.

I sometimes use it in my practice and at home, and I actually have two binarual beat machines for my kids (though, they obviously don’t have a “high” setting).

This is definitely something to keep an eye out for.  Even though it’s not “chemical,” this is still very, very dangerous.

Here’s the news clip:

If you have any questions about the technology of it, just ask. I’m quite familiar with it as a therapeutic tool.

Michael
